Although micellar casein has a longer assimilation time, it is an excellent protein source and guarantees a good amount of amino acids. On the other hand after training it is recommended to eat solid food that certainly has longer assimilation times compared to micellar casein.
In conclusion, micellar casein can be considered a valid protein source that can be used at different times. It perfectly plays the role of protein supplement as an alternative to solid food when the latter can not be consumed for the most various reasons.
